Padme Amidala

Queen Amidala was originally known as Padme Naberrie. She was a very well educated and talented child who was interested in volunteering for causes and in public services. At eight years old she joined the Apprentice Legislature and at fourteen years old she became Queen of Naboo. As great as that was, it soon took a detour. She was forced to sign a treaty making it possible for her home of Naboo to become illegally occupied. Fortunately, she was helped by some Jedi during her transportation to the camp. They took her to Coruscant to present her case to the senate to get some help. As she waited she realized that the galactic politics were as crooked as they come. The Trade Federation pushed her plea to the back burner. She eventually called for a vote of No Confidence in Supreme Chancellor Valorum, on the advice of Senator Palpatine. She returned to Naboo and received help from Gungans. She was responsible for ending the illegal occupation of Naboo by forcing her way into her own palace and driving Viceroy Nute Gunray out.
