As a member of the Empire and the Sith, Darth Vader was opposed to the Jedi. He mastered the Force on the dark side and was the Dark Lord of the Sith. As we all know now, he was once the young Anakin Skywalker, born into slavery and eventually full of anger and hate. He was once thought to be a skilled as Yoda in the energy of the Force. He decided to use the force for evil. Though he lived under the guidelines of the Jedi, he rebelled. Selfish to fulfill only his needs, he became Darth Vader under Emporer Palpatine. He led a team of clone troopers in a final battle with the Jedi in Coruscant. He finally killed off the Conederacy of Independent Systems thinking he was bringing peace to the Empire. Not pure evil through and through like Darth Maul, Darth Vader had good hidden deep within him that was buried.
